Wedding cashmere pashmina is the epitome of true luxury and genuineness. Not only is it a sign through which one can profess their warmth, but it is also a form of genuine product that is well beyond anyone’s reach. Cashmere wool is collected from the underbelly of the Himalayan goat.

The rougher and protective guard hairs are then removed thoroughly. It goes through a thoroughly rigorous procedure to come into the existence of pure luxury and elegance that we know of.

As the fabric of the material is different from the regular wool, the methodology to care for it is distinctively different as well. While you may not need to breathe in the woolen products, you need to breathe in the wedding cashmere pashmina before storing it.

Is Is it Necessary To Breathe In Cashmere Products?

As with every type of wool, cashmere products also require care. However, the methodology to wash it and care for it is comparatively more profound and concerning. As it is one of the expensive wool materials, it will be a shame to let it catch balls of pilings.

That is why one needs to proceed with utmost care to ensure the presentation of the luxuriousness and aesthetics of the garment. Because improper care can cause damage beyond repair, one has to make way to the basics by giving it some room to breathe.

Following it are mentioned some basic rules that will help you protect the integrity of the material of Cashmere blanket, or any cashmere material for that matter.

Give it a rest: Cashmere is one of those rare fabrics that hold the capacity to spring back to its former condition if it is allowed some air to breathe in. So make sure that you do not wear the sweater days in a row. You have to give it at least one day to breathe in between each wear.

Tune in the right temperature: Apart from giving it enough room to breathe, you have to make sure that the temperature you have chosen to wash a cashmere product is also suitable.

Excessive heat could create an impact on the fabrics. The acceptable temperature for washing the cashmere is above 20°C. Cashmere can maintain its shape and integrity only if it is washed under the temperature line of 20°C.

NB: If you decide to wash it in a washing machine, you have to set the temperature. If not, then you should wash the sweater by hand. As there is a chance of wringing the garment by hand, choosing the spin cycle of your washing machine at 1000 RPM may just do the trick. Also, rather than using the regular washing detergent, use wool shampoo with fewer chemicals.

Lint-breaker: Lint is one of the common enemies of Cashmere blankets or any cashmere garment, as it could affect the aesthetics of the product. However, the problem is not a common one among woolen clothing articles.

Nonetheless, cashmere takes the most priority because of its expensiveness. At the same time, many tend to leave the matter because the lint may subside after two or three washes. However, if you want it to subside fast, use electric lint removers or other devices designed to remove them.

Bottom line:

Lastly, you have to be assured that you do not dry the cashmere garment in direct sunlight or even in a dryer. By doing so, you are exposing it to irreversible changes in the fibers. It can either lose its warmth or lose the softness that you are trying hard to protect.
